ON-SITE ACTIVITIES
SPLASH INTO THE TRUE CARIBBEAN
Mudjin Harbor Beach
Dragon Cay Resort is set above one of the top ten beaches in the Turks and Caicos with a long stretch of unparalleled white sand beaches framed by majestic cliffs. The massive open-faced cave that fronts the beach can’t be missed, and provides great shade.
Dragon Cay
Our centerpiece! When viewed from the beach, the outline of this rock resembles a dragon, with its head pointing east. A little beach, can be found on the interior side of the cay. You can swim out to the cay, but we recommend waiting for low tide and wearing watersocks.
The Hidden Beach
A smaller hidden cave can be found by following the stone path along the top of the cliffs. You’ll know you’re in the right spot when the path becomes stars that disappear into the ground!
Circle of Hope
High atop the cliff directly in front of Dragon Cay Resort, sitting on a small stone pillar, is a bronze casting of Praying Hands. The statue is several feet high and sits, along with several stone benches, in the middle of a circular stone lookout area called the “Circle of Hope”.
Crossing Place Trail
Dragon Cay Resort sits immediately adjacent to one of the world’s most striking coastal hikes. The 2-mile trail guides you along some of the most unbelievable limestone cliffs, where secret beaches, blowholes, rolling green hills, and ocean caves can be discovered around every turn.
Snorkeling
Check out the rocks around the dragon along both sides of the sand spit that goes out to the dragon. We have snorkel gear to rent to our guests. Ocean conditions are often rough, yet when the ocean is calm, the underwater visibility is incredible and the sights are amazing.
